Day Ten - Someone You Don’t Talk to as Much as...
My pajama clad knight,
I miss you. We talk now and again and it’s nice. But know that it’s not as much as I would like. And that is my fault just as much as it is yours. Also, know that I love you. And as infrequent as our talks are (and were), you have probably heard more of my secrets (however trifling) than any other of my girl friends… I appreciate the ease and openness...
Hunger
On my way to breakfast this morning, I passed the bookstore. And out of the sliding doors wafted the scent of freshly printed pages and coffee. After that I wasn’t hungry for breakfast any more, I was hungry to curl up and read a book.
I did get my french toast and hash browns this morning, but I also get to read almost two hundred pages in my book. I was very fulfilled.
